Former Dreams from a Former (I think I was in 4th grade) Me

Brooke Jensen Gardner has a few goals she would like to achieve, she wants to become an author, or an actress. Brooke would also like to travel to Greece, France, Japan, and Switzerland, maybe even live in France or Greece. One of Brooke's most wanted goals is to write a whole series of bestselling books. Or maybe write more books after she finishes the series. If Brooke weree to become an actress she would have loads of fun! Brooke would like to make movies, she would imagine it being really fun! Brooke would like to live in California, France, or Greece. She would like to live in California because she loves the ocean, France because it is beautiful, and Greece because it is the most beautiful place she knows of. Brooke wants to be rich because then she will have no worries and can visit her parents a lot. When Brooke is older, she wants to have 8 kids, 4 boys and 4 girls. She hopes she can be a stay-at-home mom working on her writing in her free time. Brooke also hopes that her children will be successful too. When her kids are young, she wants to tell them stories and read them poems. Brooke wants to live on the country with lots of animals and kids, she wouldn't mind living in a house so close to the ocean that she can visit the beach every day. If she were to live in the country, it would be in a place with rolloing green hills and a lot of rain. If she were to live by the ocean, she would live in Greece. These days, Brooke can only dream what it would be like to be a bestselling author, or live in a place as beautiful as Greece, but Brooke is doing her best to reach for the stars.Emily Dickenson once said, "Hope is the thing with feathers."

Faith on Revelation and Inspiration

This past week, on Tuesday, I was listening to a talk given by Elder Richard G. Scott in the past and was impressed to write this. The talk was called " How to Obtain Revelation and Inspiration for Your Personal Life " and it was given in April 2012. It spoke of personal revelation given through dreams. I was reminded of Lehi's dream of the tree of life (and it was Nephi's dream too, once he asked for it...it had to be done so humbly, I assume (I guess it has been too long since I have read the Book of Mormon...not that it is a bad thing that I am reading the Old Testament of the Bible right now!) (I should get the Book of Mormon started again awfully soon though...maybe today.) (Feeling and writing revelation that I am given.). A Story about Trying something New

Once upon a time I made a complete fool out of myself (or maybe once upon several a times, but I am getting too ahead of myself and not meaning to talk about each of them right here). I was standing on stage, in front of everyone…I really don’t like to talk about it (and yet, here we are). I’m not really sure of how else to put it than this, so here goes… I was a bad actress in school plays, or really any plays. I sometimes sang some forgettable songs with my sister in church. I performed around a billion skits in my acting class in the past (many of which were not even funny in the slightest). I actually did a whole entire series of Improv Duet Skits with a partner and they all somehow, as if by magic, transformed straight into rap sessions. The Story of the Harmless and the Harmful

I am far past sixty and married, but these effects are due to my condition and sufferings, for I am only a bachelor, and only forty-one. It will be hard for you to believe that I, who am now but only a shadow, was a hale, hearty man only two years ago, a man of iron, an athlete at his best! Although stranger still than this fact is the way in which I unfortunately lost my health.
