Happy Helper with a Different Story/Storing System

Hi! This week has certainly been a busy, exciting week. I recently went to the doctor's for an ultrasound, and I am very happy to say that the baby girl growing inside me looks very healthy and ready to be born based on the information that they could get there. (Although, I was also warned that since it was just an ultrasound and my due date isn't until closer to mid-October (I am actually planning on having a caesarean section (c-section) (interesting tidbit-that is also how I was born and entered the world!)) so they said that everything looks good right now, but anything still has the capability of happening...which I think is just something that they have to say, so I am still hopeful in anticipation and am anxious (but not too anxious). This week, in writing I did some more story-planning and drafting, plus idea-sharing with my husband. I am working on a BIG story I think, but one I definetely want to hit a larger, more realistic groove with the retelling. What if the main character, in her innocence, fairness, and beauty fell in love with someone not of royal blood who she really wasn't supposed to? What if I highlight the stepmother's vanity and pride with more than a sentence, so that a reader may understand them more (everyone and everything has to have a reason)? What if I take away the more magical characters that were in the original fairy tale to make this tale more realistic? These questions and all the more are entering my head (and therefore, being either written or typed in my writer's notebook/document) currently. I have a good feeling about this one. :-)
Here is a picture of my son, Nathan's little play area (that he is trying to extend to his bedroom currently) (I don't know exactly how, but he is getting better at opening doors--as long as they aren't locked!) (he is a little explorer). If you can't tell, he does like to help me clean up and store his toys in a central place, though it isn't always where I, as his mother would store them. I like keeping them in a basket, while he likes stuffing them in shelves right next to either his games or our movies (I think because he can reach those locations better...but he is growing like a weed (and he likes to go on his tiptoes) so it is difficult to find a place where I can reach, but he can't lol) (I LOVE being a mother!).
