Thoughts on Holy Ghost

I have been impressed and thus reminded of the power of the gift if the Holy Ghost this week. Sadly, I find myself unable to attend church on this day since I have been feeling sick to my stomach these past few days. I recently started my final trimester of being pregnant and several things have just been harder. I still have a few thoughts that I would like to share this week, primarily on the Comforter, so I an doing that on here. ❤️

The Holy Ghost is a messenger and witness of God; the Father and of Jesus Christ. 

Let me elaborate: Have you ever felt God's love in your daily life? This is a manifestation of the Holy Spirit. God reaches out to His children and truly communicates to them (for me, it is often through a warm feeling in my heart...although there may be different ways for different people). You can receive the Holy Ghost when you are a baptized member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. 🌤 Through the comforting spirit of the Holy Ghost your loving Heavenly Father makes it possible for you to enjoy His love, guidance, and direction--and sometimes (some lucky times) His correction--through His messenger, the Holy Ghost. 

For those of you who still wonder what (or who, more correctly) the Holy Ghost is, I invite you to turn to D&C 130: 22-

"The Father has a body of flesh and bones as tangible as man's; the Son also; but the Holy Ghost has not a body of flesh and bones, but is a personage of the Spirit. Were it not so, the Holy Ghost could not dwell in us."

The Holy Ghost can truly become a priceless gift to you. The more that you learn about Him, the more you wish to realize His guidance. I think of when the Nephites at the temple in Bountiful when they had a heartfelt desire for the gift of tbe Holy Ghost in 3 Nephi.

The Holy Ghost will help you know the truth of all things. God is not a selective God. He wants all of His children to learn the truth about His plan for their happiness and salvation. 

These are my thoughts that I am currently having on the third member of the Godhead, the Holy Ghost.

This past week, on Tuesday, I was listening to a talk given by Elder Richard G. Scott in the past and was impressed to write this. The talk was called " How to Obtain Revelation and Inspiration for Your Personal Life " and it was given in April 2012. It spoke of personal revelation given through dreams. The Story of the Harmless and the Harmful

I am far past sixty and married, but these effects are due to my condition and sufferings, for I am only a bachelor, and only forty-one. A Story about Trying something New

Once upon a time I made a complete fool out of myself (or maybe once upon several a times, but I am getting too ahead of myself and not meaning to talk about each of them right here). I was standing on stage, in front of everyone…I really don’t like to talk about it (and yet, here we are). I’m not really sure of how else to put it than this, so here goes… I was a bad actress in school plays, or really any plays. I sometimes sang some forgettable songs with my sister in church. I performed around a billion skits in my acting class in the past (many of which were not even funny in the slightest). I actually did a whole entire series of Improv Duet Skits with a partner and they all somehow, as if by magic, transformed straight into rap sessions.
